What's on your secure attachment playlist?

Hello! It’s so lovely to be back here again after a week of diving deeply into the Understanding Avoidant Attachment Online Course and completing the first draft! I’m looking forward to the official launch in just a couple of weeks!

All of that being said, I’ve been interested in continuing to connect with you in ways that shake up the traditional blog post. I love attachment theory because once you learn about it, it’s easy to apply it to all of the relationships in your life. One of the most beautiful ways we express our feelings about relationships, connection, and love is through music—so I started to consider what it might be like to create a Secure Attachment Playlist that captures the stability, consistency, and warmth of secure connection and allows us to tap in to that feeling whenever we want. Cultivating a sense of security primes our brains to notice it, appreciate it, and feel it more deeply when we have it in our daily lives.

I asked folks on Instagram to contribute some of their favorite secure attachment songs to the playlist, and they seriously came through! I loved listening to the suggested songs and noticing how I very quickly felt more grounded and calm after listening. I’m curious to hear about your experience! What songs would you add to this list? Please suggest them in the comments below and I will continue to update the playlist!

I’m listing the songs here on the blog, but I also went ahead and created playlists on Apple Music and Spotify so you can listen, too!
